Vizontele's costumers went out on the field five months before shooting started, to research how the village and town people of Hakkari and Van dressed, lived, and conducted their family affairs in the 70's. Private photo albums, accessories and authentic local costumes were collected. And the designed costumes reflect the researchers' attention to detail. The cast members' costumes were all designed after authentic local dress styles, and made with local fabrics. Costumes were individually designed and tailored for each single member of the 400-strong cast. " |
